Love them, love them, love them!!! That is the first thing I thought when I saw the Gucci Messenger Bags from the Fall/Winter, Cruise and Classic lines. I am an avid traveler and many times I am travelling on business of some nature so I always tend to have way more stuff to carry around than I would prefer so a Messenger Bag is an ever so useful bag to have handy.
I have to have the large Messenger Bag with detachable should strap, zip top closure, Gucci crest trademark plaque, front zip pocket, inside zip pocket and cell phone pocket in brown leather with silver hardware. The leather looks incredibly supple and so very luxurious that I might even have to sleep with it the first few nights! It is the perfect size, 16.5"l x 1.4"w x 15.7"h, to carry paperwork, books, cosmetic bags, electronics and anything else you may need handy on flight. You can also purchase this Gucci Messenger Bag in black leather with silver hardware, which is also a beautiful piece but not nearly as stunning as the brown in my opinion.
Anytime you are thinking Gucci you always think of the classic web pattern, right? Well, Gucci also offers a fabulous Messenger Bag that is a bit more casual than the above mentioned leather versions in the web design. The large Messenger Bag with adjustable signature web shoulder strap has a flap closure with magnetic snap, front zip pocket, inside pocket and a cell phone pocket. It is beige/ebony GG plus with green/red/green web and brown leather trim. Again, it's size, 15"l x 4.3"w x 12.6"h, is perfect for carrying anything you might need through an airport, to work or around campus if you are part of the collegiate crowd.
One final tip... If you are at the airport and you find yourself with a purse, your Messenger Bag and a carry-on suitcase but TSA is only allowing your to carry through one luggage and one personal item you can simply stack your purse inside the top of your Messenger Bag with the zipper open and count it as your one personal item...
